Approximately 500 different pieces of barbed wire are identified.  Most barbed wire is identified with both a name as well as a patent owner and issue date. Also pictured and described are examples of the various tools (pliers, stretchers, splicers, tighteners, etc.) used in fence construction. This scarce book is a collector’s item in itself and an invaluable resource reference work.
