Up for sale is an authentic Maine standard issue license plate, expired and retired from use. It depicts the "VACATIONLAND" message, featuring the Chicadee bird and pine cone graphics. The border and lettering used on the plate is embossed, raised up from the surface of the plate. It saw many years in service There's multiple layers of renewal stickers.
This plate is in overall EXCELLENT condition and was hand picked by me for quality.
THE PLATE SITS PERFECTLY FLAT! No wobble or warping to it.
There is minor marring around the upper and lower screw holes and on the raised border, and there's a very minor scuff near the pine cone and the "ti" in Vacationland (See pictures). NO OTHER MAJOR SCRATCHES OR BLEMISHES!
This would be a great addition to any license plate enthusiast's collection, to decorate a barn or man cave!
