    ESCRIPTION:
    Scans show it all.....Great antique real photo postcard of a native American mother holding child. Absolutely great pose. She is wearing native American dress. In the background on the left can be seen part of a wagon; on the right can be seen a tent....kind of like a small skin teepee with decoration, etc.  Probably taken about 1890 - 1900 from the type of photo and style of details.
    A beautiful pose generally, and wonder if she was shy about posing. Shadow in her eyes indicate bright Western sun out.
    She is clearly" Native American, with all the facial features, etc. Great looking young girl. ONE OF THE NICEST NATIVE AMERICAN PHOTO I HAVE SEEN. A real rare one. Especially nice shown holding her child.
    ESPECIALLY NICE IS THAT ON THE REVERSE IN PENCIL HANDWRITING IS HANDWRITTEN "Indians in there everday dress". Also signed Roy.
    May have been a souvenir photo taken by a photographer or a visitor to the region. But a great looking photograph.
    All in all a great photo for a western Americana or native American collection
    . Actual photo postcard size, measuring 3 1/2" x 5 3/4".
